Abrasive Garnet Sand
Abrasive Garnet sand is a proper Cutting and a popular replacement of silica in sandblasting. Abrasive Sand grains which are rounder are more proper for such as blasting, grit blasting, shot blasting operations. We supply abrasive garnet all over India and all over the world. Abrasive garnet sand is used to cut steel and other elements in water jets Mixed with very high-pressure water. For water jet cutting, extracted from hard rock is proper since it is more angular in form, therefore more effective in cutting.
Specifications of Abrasive Garnet Sand:
Minimum Order Quantity | 26 Ton |
Packaging Size | 25-50 kg |
Color | Brown |
Hardness | 7 – 7.5 mhos |
Bulk-Density | 3.5 to 4.3 |
Shape | Sub angular |
Grade | Abrasive |
Physical State | Grain |
Abrasive sandblasting with softer, less dense abrasives, or using other garnets high in impurities will not clean as quickly or effectively, in addition, it may leave behind an inconsistent, uneven profile with embedments which may result in premature coating failure wasting both time and money.
Garnet sand for Water Filteration:
Sand granules of size 12/35 are generally practicing in a type of water -filtration process from industrial wastewater processing to commercial water filtration. Garnet Granules is used generally for the removal of large minerals. It is the most cost-effective product for water filtration beds.
Garnet sand for Water Jet Cutting
Abrasive grains of abrasive Garnet of sizes varies from 81 and 121 for various suitable for water jet cutting media for industrial purposes. Grains size uniformity, hardness, results in cutting edge quality with optimum efficiency and low use cost resulting in high & optimum functional efficiencies.
Abrasive papers
Garnet sand granules are variously used in a proper product for the manufacturing of grinding papers with the low price of production & high quality of papers.
Abrasive Garnet Mesh 10/20
- Larger / coarser particle size
- Heavier product for the fastest removal of thicker layers of rust and paint where the surface finish does not need to be smooth.
Abrasive Mesh 20/40 & 20/60.
- Medium / intermediate particle size
- A larger sized grain used for faster removal of harder surfaces where speed is important or there are thicker layers of paint and/or rust.
Abrasive Garnet Mesh 30/60.
- Smaller/Medium particle size
- Most popular and widely used grade or mesh size
- A robust and everyday grade used primarily for new steel & maintenance work and industrial applications such as machinery maintenance, paint & rust removal prior to painting and surface preparation in industrial painting applications.
Abrasive Mesh 80 & 120 Mesh.
- Finer / smaller particle size
- Most popular and widely used grade or mesh size for waterjet cutting.
